Stay away from distilled water. Distilled water has been stripped of all it's minerals. I guess you could use it if you were to add minerals to recreate a type of water from a famous place like Burton on the Trent. Anyone else have a take on it?

I buy and drink distilled water, I'd say it would depend on the brand, some are more or less distilled. I would suggest if you like the taste of the distilled water, go ahead. Its what I use.

As long as you are doing extract brewing you can use distilled water.
